Homecoming Revolution, the brain gain company for Africa, will next week bring together influential Africans living in New York in an effort to inspire them to return home as part of the organisation’s inaugural Speed Meet New York event.
The two day event comprises a VIP Heritage Day dinner at the trendy Kaia Wine Bar on 24 September, where South Africa’s rich heritage will be celebrated by Africans from across the continent in the heart of Manhattan, as well as a full-day interactive networking event at the Thomson Reuters headquarters in Times Square on 25 September.
Captains of industry, African professionals, celebrities and media are among the exciting guests attending the event including the likes of Thulisile Nkosi (SA Consulate General in NYC), Alex Okosi (MTV Africa), Acha Leke (McKinsey &Co), Amini Kajunju (AAI), Thebe Ikalafeng (Brand Africa), Fred Swaniker (ALU), Ibrahima Diallo (Paralympic Footballer), Ibiyinka Alao (Artist) & Farai Simoyi ( Fashion designer).

Speed Meet New York will introduce Africans living in the USA to top employers back home, provide inspirational content and practical tools on returning including property and relocation advice, as well as connect African movers and shakers living in the US in an interactive and dynamic setting.
