Homecoming Revolution praised for role in Africa’s ‘brain gain’

“We can’t do all the things we want to do in Africa without bringing some of our talent home,” said Sneha Shah, Head of Africa, Financial and Risk at Thomson Reuters.

She was speaking during her opening address of Thomson Reuters’ 4th Trading Africa Summit in Cape Town on 4 March, of which Homecoming Revolution was a proud supporting partner.

Issues such as Africa’s high interest rates, doing business across the continent, as well as Africa’s economic fundamentals, growth performance and prospects were debated during the event.

Shah said Homecoming Revolution is helping drive prosperity on the African continent.

“For too many years in Africa we have talked about the brain drain and Homecoming Revolution are helping to reverse that.”

She emphasised the importance of  a ‘brain grain’ on the continent.

“I believe together we will make Africa what we all want it to be.”
