Homecoming Revolution’s first Talent “Speed-Date” event a great success.
Last week Homecoming Revolution held the first ever Talent Speed-Date event at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton. Over a hundred guests attended, mostly comprising of highly skilled East and West Africans currently living in South Africa, who were hoping to return home to Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda and Ghana.
This interactive event provided a unique networking, branding and recruitment opportunity for businesses operating and growing in sub-Saharan Africa. In total there were thirteen employers including KPMG, Barclays, Microsoft, Deloitte, Group Five, Roche and Dalberg. Two companies, namely Safaricom and Centum, flew in from Kenya to meet the talent, while Old Mutual, Allan Gray and Engen flew in from Cape Town. Pam Golding used our event as a platform to unveil their exciting new development in Uganda.
