1.Not tailoring the CV to the specific job or industry

2.Using overly complex or technical language

3.Being too vague or not providing enough specific examples

4.Including irrelevant information or leaving out important information

5.Not formatting the CV correctly (e.g. using small font, poor layout)

6.Being dishonest or exaggerating accomplishments

7.Not proofreading for errors or typos

8.Not including key words that align with the job requirements
