Kim Richards has joined Tiger Brands as HR Business Partner. She will contribute to the business strategy by working with business leaders to identify and build key capabilities, leadership, behaviours and appropriate structures to execute strategy.
A core part of her role will also be working with business leaders to translate business needs into HR requirements.
Kim says the opportunity to come in and effect change was what appealed most to her about the opportunity with Tiger Brands.
“I was drawn to the opportunity of implementing world class standards and systems across the organization as well as building relationships.”
“Since joining, the most exciting thing about the role has been introduction to strategy as well as Tiger Brands’ innovative ways of working,” she continues.
Kim started her career in 2007 as an HR Officer for Mondi Group’s Plastics Division. From there, she was promoted to HR Manager and stayed with the organization for four years.
In 2011, Kim joined South African Breweries as HR Business Partner and was in 2017 promoted to People Manager for the Rosslyn and Polokwane Areas. Last year, she was also awarded the HRBP of the Year Award.
When asked what she enjoyed most about working with Homecoming Revolution, she replied, “Their constant feedback, support and professionalism throughout the recruitment process.”
