Homecomer Stories: South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya
homecoming-revolution-south-africa-heartafrica-1“We’ve finally booked our flights home to South Africa last night!… I couldn’t be more delighted to be going back to sunshine and family! My little boys will get to meet their cousins and spend their first of many Christmases together” – Jessica Tomlinson Hill
“A lot of people ask me personally how do we go back to Nigeria and they are often between the ages of 21 and 35. They are often young professionals who may not yet have kids. As you can see there has been a big boom for the arts, for fashion, music and film. And then there are others who are setting up agri-businesses, engineering, mining companies, you name it. You can feel there’s a big rush.” – Baba Epega
homecoming-revolution-kenya-heartafrica-1On returning home to Kenya: “1.  You will feel lost.  2.  You will feel the pressure.  3.  You will realize Kenya is not cheap.  4.  You will tarmac.  5.  Your degree will work against you.  6.  You will discover the Kenyan market is very different.  7.  You will be disappointed, over and over again.  8.  You will have to forego the very essence of time-keeping.  9.  YOU WILL LOVE IT” – Njambi Mungai
