“With some of the world’s fastest growing economies, the continent offers Africans in the Diaspora tremendous opportunities,”says Amini Kajunju, President & CEO of the Africa-America Institute (AAI).
The AAI was founded more than 60 years ago to strengthen Africa’s human capital by enabling bright and talented Africans to earn higher education degrees in the US.
Kajunju says more than 90% of the AAI’s alumni returned home where they applied their world-class education to their country’s development.
She says, Africans in the diaspora can continue this “brain gain”.
“Bring your talent, energy, skills and technological know-how to furthering economic progress in Africa. We are a new generation of African leaders. There are endless possibilities of how we can make an impact on Africa!”
